01.04.2019
From April 8 to April 12, the next Global Money Week-2019 will be held in Kyrgyzstan. A large-scale campaign is carried out annually by the international community “Child and Youth Finance” in more than 169 countries globally, in which more than 32 million children and youth participate. Understanding the importance of improving financial literacy, and considering the accumulated experience, Bai-Tushum Bank has traditionally become one of the active participants in the Global Money Week-2019 campaign in Kyrgyzstan.
Employees of Bai-Tushum Bank will conduct training for schoolchildren throughout Kyrgyzstan during the week. How to define your dream, how to save up for its fulfillment, why keep a family budget and why you need an emergency fund – those matters will be discussed at trainings in schools. During the week, 75 schools and more than 7,000 schoolchildren and teachers across the country will be covered.
In addition, this year Bai-Tushum continued to support young artists in the framework of the national competition of children’s drawings. This year the topic of the children’s drawing will be: “Dream. Save. Fulfill”. The drawings of young geniuses can be viewed at the on-line exhibition gmw.baitushum.kg. At this website, each child can add his own drawing, and website visitors can vote for their favorite. The results of the competition will be announced on April 11. Winners of the competition in 3 age categories will be awarded with certificates for opening a deposit in Bai-Tushum Bank:
- First place – certificate for KGS 6,000,
- Second place – certificate for KGS 4,000,
- Third place – certificate for KGS 2,500.
Encouraging prizes will be provided for the memorable drawings. The awarding ceremony and the official closing of the Global Money Week will be held on April 16 at the State agency on youth, physical culture and sport by the Government of the KR Youth Center.
