The 5fth Global Money Week brings finalist nomination to Kyrgyzstan

The Global Money Week-Kyrgyzstan 2016 resulted in the Europe and Central Asia finalist nomination for the Kyrgyz Republic along with Armenia and Belgium from among 50 countries in the Country Award category. The award for significant improvements in financial education in the country, established by Child and Youth Finance International global movement was presented at the Global Inclusion Awards 2016 ceremony.
We remind that in 2016 Bai-Tushum Bank was an active participant and organizer of the 5th Global Мoney Week-Kyrgyzstan 2016. During this period, the staff of Bai-Tushum Bank held daily trainings for elementary and senior schoolers nation-wide. The interactive trainings covered 40 schools and more than 3,000 children in Bishkek, Talas, Issyk-Kul, Jalal-Abad, Osh and Batken provinces.
In addition, in the course of this campaign Bai-Tushum Bank held Savings Days at Bank’s offices across the republic. Each visitor received consultations pertaining to: financial planning, family budget, savings, as well as a pleasant gift. The consultations were delivered to total 2,500 people. Children’s drawing contest was held for little visitors from March 9 to March 18.
This Tuesday the action group announced the participation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the 6th Global Money Week in 2017 and started preparing the activities devoted to “Learn. Save. Earn” subject announced for 2017 by Child and Youth Finance International global movement.
Во вторник инициативная группа объявила об участии Кыргызской Республики в 6-й Всемирной недели денег в 2017 году и начала работу по подготовке мероприятий в рамках тематики: “Учитесь. Делайте сбережения. Зарабатывайте”, объявленной на 2017 год международным сообществом “Child and Youth Finance International”.
