Bai-Tushum & Partners acted as the official partner of the Startup Weekend Bishkek

Microfinance Bank “Bai-Tushum & Partners “, with the support of Kiva Funds, acted as an official partner of the Startup Weekend Bishkek, which will be held November 9-11. This assistance is provided within the framework of the bank’s social mission of providing self-employment for the population and creating jobs. It also supports the youth innovative entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan through the granting of soft loans.

This is going to be the first Startup Weekend in Kyrgyzstan. Its purpose is to provide support and assistance to beginner entrepreneurs in the implementation and development of their business ideas. For three days, participants in the event can share business ideas, form team, build products and launch startups.

The authors of the 15 best business projects will present their plan to a panel of business experts who will critique the ideas and select the winning team. The winning team will receive a prize package full of all the tools entrepreneurs need to make a new business successful.

This event is organized by the Public Foundation “Central Asian Free Market Institute.” Startup Weekend is a global network of passionate leaders and entrepreneurs with a mission to inspire, educate, and empower individuals, teams and communities. Since 2008, Startup Weekend events have been organized in over 200 cities around the world.
