Our colleague Kanat Umaraliev won the 1st place in 3rd annual chess tournament NOWRUZ CUP – 2018

Our colleague Kanat Umaraliev, who holds a position of the head of the information security division in “Bai-Tushum” bank, won the first place and became the owner of the cup of the III annual chess tournament NOWRUZ CUP – 2018. The cup and the certificate were presented to the winner by the 12th world champion in chess Anatoly Karpov.

The chess tournament was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and was conducted according to the Swiss system in individual competition with the participation of FIDE arbitrators. About 60 amateur chess players from among entrepreneurs, representatives of business associations, ministries and departments of Kyrgyzstan, embassies of foreign countries and international organizations took part in the competitions.

Kanat Umaraliev, after seven games, had 6 wins and finished one game in a draw.
