The company moved into an active phase of the project Kiva

Bai-Tushum and Partners Company has passed into an active phase of the Kiva project In November 1, 2011, as well as became a full partner of the Fund, confirming the status of community-oriented and dynamic developing company. The transition to the active phase of the project means an increase in the monthly funding, which will certainly allow the Company to implement long-term social initiatives in the future, contributing to the sustainable development of communities in their regions and to improve the quality of life of clients.

This event is made possible by the coordinated work of the Company’s employees, their responsible approach to innovation and high orientation to make a contribution to the social responsibility of the Company. Today, the Company’s loan portfolio under Kiva project reached total of USD 740 thousand. The number of clients is 450, of whom 68% of women.

It should be pointed that Kiva Microfunds is an Internet platform that connects people through lending to socially vulnerable populations around the world and contributing to global efforts to overcome poverty. Kiva Microfunds collaborates with 144 MFIs in 60 countries. The company Bai -Tushum and Partners is one of the first microfinance institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic to join this global community.
