Today the results of the Bank’s 4-year cooperation on the project “Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship” were summarized

Today Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of Bai-Tushum Bank Kanat Kurmanov Maratbekovich and representative of Business Development Department Djamalova Mubara participated in the conference “Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship”. The event is held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and it is a significant milestone, summarizing the results of 4-year cooperation on “Development of women entrepreneurship” project. It is to be recalled that the project is implemented for the donor funds of the Japan Poverty Reduction Fund, which is administered by the Asian Development Bank.The conference gathered around the same table the representatives of the Ministry of Economy, financial institutions, business associations, NGOs and women entrepreneurs, who under the project received training and funding to implement their business plans. Entrepreneurs represent very different spheres of the economy: from tourism, trade and services to the production of dairy and other agricultural products. Within the framework of the project, the Bank has tested and launched new products, such as lending with a deposit component, lending to the tourism business and financing the value chain for milk processing. The total amount of the Bank’s financing for this project is over 22 million soms.

During the conference, our women clients who were trained and received funding, received honorary certificates from the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, the manager of the Talas branch of the bank, Tajikanov Tilek Akynbekovich, was awarded with an honorary certificate of the Ministry of Economics of the Kyrgyz Republic for his contribution to the social and economic development of Kyrgyzstan and active participation in the development of women entrepreneurship.
