With the support of the Microfinance bank “Bai-Tushum and Partners”, an annual project “Teenagers in Free Enterprise” has started in Bishkek

Microfinance Bank “Bai-Tushum and Partners” acted as one of the general sponsors of the project “Teenagers in Free Enterprise” annually implemented by SIFE AUCA team.
In the course of this project, participants will undergo special trainings on preparation of a business plan, basics of economics and social responsibility. Training will be carried out by instructors of the American University – Central Asia (AUCA), entrepreneurs and business -trainers practitioners.
“Within the framework of initiative to improve the financial literacy of the general public, our Bank finances and actively supports the projects for youth with aspects of financial education, development of entrepreneurial skills and approaches. Today it is necessary to pay special attention to quality financial education of the youth, and start the education process to basics of economics and business planning as early as from school days”, – said Gulnara Shamshieva, General manager of MFB “Bai-Tushum & Partners”.
It is planned to involve 13 schools and 130 high school students. The trainings are directed at formation of interest of young people to entrepreneurship, practical knowledge of implementation and development of business ideas, data collection, analysis and business planning. The business project would also include a social component, which will allow young people to form an understanding of the need to do business in the framework of environmental sensitivity and social responsibility.
